SDC – The Sustainable Design Collective

Products, Places & People

We are a ‘think tank’ group committed to acting as a collective within the workplace design community to identify developments and ‘best practice’ relating to sustainability.

An early leader in the industry, the Sustainable Design Collective is an initiative by: Women in Office Design.

Our Mission

The purpose of the Group is to promote and applaud achievements and, more importantly, to create a forum for knowledge sharing and exchange.

The group aims to represent the full scope of the office design sector – architects, designers, manufacturers, suppliers and sustainability experts. Working towards the greater good – ultimately to reduce our climate impact.

News

Co-Founder of SDC - the Sustainable Design Collective, Joanna Knight, has received an award in recognition of her work championing a greater focus on environmental impact within the workplace sector, at the Global Sustainability Summit held at the House of Lords on Thursday 28th March 2024.

The Sustainable Design Collective is pleased to announce the launch of a new logo as part of a revised visual brand identity.

Following the release of SDMagazine's second issue, several members give their thoughts in a series of videos - including why they feel the publication is important for the industry, what reads can expect inside and more.

A big thanks to Mick Jordan and the team for covering April's Forum & Awards in Issue 6 of Works Magazine.
